In its historic centre, which dates back from 1487, stands out the famous 'Balcon de Europa', a viewpoint overlooking the sea and built from the remains of an old medieval castle. In the outskirts you'll find The Nerja Caves, the 3rd most visited natural monument in Spain.

• Frigiliana, a small village surrounded by immense mountains and shaped by its beautiful little streets of purest andalusian style, is famous for its sweet wine and oil
