The Cortijo de Arriba is located in Los Pedroches, inside the Cordoban
Sierra Morena in an area called "Era Grande" within the Cordoban
Sierra Morena, considered a priviledge among the whole region of
Los Pedroches due to their nature and traditional constructions.
It's 150 mts from El Cortijo de la Abuela.

| The house is for complete rent. |
| It's built according to the structure of a typical olive-pickers'
farmhouse as it was in earlier times. The rooms are distributed around
a square living-room. It has capacity for 10
people and consists of: |
- Room with king-sized bed
- Room with king-sized bed and two twin-beds
- Room with king-sized bed and a bunk bed
- Living-room with fireplace
- Kitchenette
- Complete bathroom

| The most advisable period of time to come to the farm is from September
until May, because it is among the months of Autumn to Spring when
one can enjoy the excursions around the surroundings of the farm as
well as practising hiking through the different paths, specially the
route of Peña Aguila. |
| You´ll enjoy the nature going for a walk through the multiple farms,
mills of ecological oil and nearby hermitages.You will also enjoy
the richness of its folklore, its millenary customs as well as the
peculiar religious pilgrimages which still keep their original essence.

| On one side of Los Pedroches county, in the north-eastern zone of
Cordoba, you can find the Nature Park Cardeña-Montoro. It's 41.212
hectares give shelter to many species of great interest such as the
wolf, the Iberian lynx, the otter, the imperial and real eagle. |
