The country house Casa Grande de Camposo is located in O Corgo
halfway the rivers Miño and Neira, 18 kmts far from Lugo and 12
from El Camino de Santiago.
The accommodation dates from the XVIth century and has been restored
in its entirety respecting the original structure. The house stands
within in a walled gardened area of around 5000 m2 together with
several service outbuildings.

The restoration for its adaptation to the rural tourism finalized
in 2000 and reached the first category within the houses of this
kind in Galicia.

| It has been decorated with care, fitting in rooms and common places
restored ancient objects with the most modern ones. |
| The bedrooms, whose names are those belonging to the old properties
of the house, have been restored in detail with a mixture of bright
colours and samples of granite ashlar work, typical of millenary buildings. |
We dispose of 8 spacious and illuminated rooms, all
of them outward-facing which are equipped with:
- complete bathroom
- heating
- telephone
- TV

| There are two small houses within
the walled garden which in past times where the landlords and workers
home of the property, and nowadays are rented as independent rooms.

The biggest one has a bedroom, living-room and a bathroom. The
other is suitable for handicapped people and both of them are equipped
with the best amenities.

| The common rooms of the house
are as follows: Two ample dining-rooms which keep up its original
and centenary stone structure. They have a maximum capacity for 40
people and there you can taste the most delicious dishes of the traditional
Galician gastronomy. A library living-room of 60 m2 with fireplace
and comfortable armchairs to enjoy the reading of a good book as well
as a pleasant chat while watching the flames of the fireplace. A small
café with "lareira". |
| You can practise the following adventure and leisure activities: |
| Excursions on foot, cycling /BTT, water-skiing courses in Portomarin
and paint ball. |
