La Carcava is an atypically rural house of 400 m2 opened in 1999
and constructed on an ancient flax field in La Serna del Monte,
a small town located in the northern hills (Sierra del Norte) of
Madrid.
House for complete rent. Maximum
capacity is for 24 people.

| We mean "atypically rural" because although its outward shape is
a good example of rural architecture, the interior was designed to
cover the lodging necessities and as meeting point for
families and groups, eager to find open-air places hardly
altered, together with modern-life facilities. |
| Everything thought with the aim for you to take advantage
of your leisure time enjoying the possibilities we offer you in La
Cárcava: A priviledged environment for those fond of open-air activities
and a house with space and equipment not very common. |

- Hall and small mini bar
- Dining-living room of 50m2 with capacity for 25 people, open
fireplace and TV

- The dining-room leads to the firewood oven and the courtyard
with barbecue

- 6 lofted bedrooms (two single beds and a double one ) with bathroom
and capacity for 2 or 4 people

dards, chess set, library, maps of the hills, children's and table
games

| The games and meeting room also disposes of television, video,
DVD with Dolby Digital sound, slide overhead projector, karaoke and
Internet access. |

The house is equipped with: Gas cooker, grill, fridge, freezer,
gas stove, microwave oven, oven for pizzas, extractor fan, dishwasher.
Complete kitchen appliances (crokery, cutlery, etc...). Bed linen,
table and bathroom clothes.

| Activities & surroundings:
The priviledged location of La Serna del Monte will approach you to
a wide mountain area, unknown for many people. In la Sierra de Guadarrama
you'll find a no end of routes and paths to be gone over with or without
guide on foot, by horse-riding, 4x4 or by bycicle. The ski resorts
of La Pinilla, Navacerrada and Valdesquí are only 30 and 50 kmts far
from here respectively, although in certain periods of the year the
only thing you have to do to play with the snow, is strolling in the
surroundings of "La Cárvaca". |
