The town of Amaya is in the north west zone of the Province of Burgos, bordering Palencia and Cantabria. It is surrounded by beautiful fields and is located at the bottom of "La Peineta": An impressive limestone mountain with a height of 1377 metres at its peak.

 
The accommodation is a restored rural house according to the popular architecture style. The house offers the chance of enjoying the quietness and calm of a real country environment, as well as marvellous trips all around.

Four bedrooms are in the upper floor and the one on the ground floor is adapted to handicapped people in wheelchair.

Places of interest: Sasamon, a 1000 years-old town; Olmillos de Sasamon, a remarkable town due to the outline of its castle; Yudego and Villandiego have a medieval bridge. Castillo de Murcia, where in June "la fiesta del Colacho" is celebrated, an ancient reminiscence of some pagan rite. And many other charming towns.
