The rural house El Prado Mayor is located in the town of Quintanilla
del Rebollar, Burgos, in the priviledged open space of Ojo Guareņa
which has been declared Monument of Nature in 1996.

| It is a cosy, typical farmhouse built by the end of the XVIth. century.
The accommodation has been restored respecting the original materials
and style and consists of: |

| Each bedroom is decorated in a very personal way with ancient restored
furniture as well as simple and elegant adornments which turn these
rooms into pleasant spaces. The wood, stone and small windows combined
with bright colours give personality and originality to the bathrooms. |

A comfortable two-storey lounge with library and fireplace is located
in an adjoining building (former woodshed). There you can enjoy
social gatherings, table games, reading or just relax watching the
flames.

Prado Mayor offers you a home-made, simple and natural gastronomy
based on greens, vegetables and goods from the vegetable garden
ecologically cultivated. We prepare home-made jams and jellies of
redcurrant, raspberry, elder, blackberry and courgette among others.
During your stay with us you can taste an assorted pastrymaking
for breakfast such as sponge cakes of cream, aniseed ring-shaped
pastries, butter, nuts and raisins biscuits as well as delicious
home-made desserts.
