La Casona de San Pantaleon de Aras is a mountain house
built in the XVIIth century. It has been recently restored and rebuilt
as a hotel respecting its original charm which is mixed with a modern
atmosphere. It is located in the eastern part of Cantabria, in the
heart of Aras Valley, in a scenery full of fields, rivers and mountains
inside an area of great environmental and cultural value. |
| The 3 stars rated hotel is situated in San Pantaleon de Aras, close
to the town of Badames. We´re only 5 kmts away from the sea
and the free highway Santander-Bilbao. |

three of them are suites, and are equipped with: |

| A medieval bridge gives access to the property. The River Clarin
and the waters of the nearby mill create a relaxing atmosphere where
you can take a stroll, sunbathe or just sit on a stone bench while
listening to the sound of the stream. |
| Due to its priviledged location, the accommodation is the ideal
place to get some peace and relax. Besides, you can enjoy a wide variety
of leisure outdoor activities
in the surrounding area: |
- Visit to the Prehistoric Altamira Caves, Santillana del Mar
(less than an hour by car)
- Visit to the Guggenheim Museum, Bilbao (45 minutes by car)
- Visit to the Nature Park of Cabarceno, the Natural Reserve
of Santoņa and Noja Marshes and to the Nature Park of Los Collados
de Ason
- Fishing, hiking, climbing, cycling, canoeing, potholing, golf
(1/2 hour far from here), quad routes, water sports, horse-riding
