There are several restaurants nearby where you can enjoy traditional dishes such as fabada (beans stew) and verdinas (pork stew with green beans). The beans are cooked with wild pork, seafood… Another traditional meal in Asturias is tortos (fried corn bread) with fried eggs and chorizos (sausages), accompanied with Spanish wine or the typical Asturian apple cider, which is a low alcohol organic drink. Due to its great location, one can enjoy the beach and the mountain the same day. Nature lovers may enjoy its indigenous forests, walk through its different pathways and Roman roads.
