The 2 stars rated hotel Cerro de Hijar is located in the heart of the Nature Park Sierra de las Nieves, just 2 kmts away from the town of Tolox, on the hill that gives name to the hotel. Its priviledged situation at 600 mts above sea level, offers fantastic panoramic views over the Guadalhorce Valley and even Sierra Nevada on clear days.

The building has been restored as a typical Andalusian hacienda, with inner courtyard, spacious common areas and gardens, focussing specially on details in order to create a cosy atmosphere based on the decoration, a mixture of old and modern elements combined with ethnical objects and natural fibres, both in rooms and common areas.

The accommodation consists of 18 rooms: 14 double rooms (one suitable for handicapped people) and 4 suites (2 junior). All of them overlook the valley or mountain and are equipped with:

16 of them are on the upper floor and have a balcony.

The installations are completed with: Covered pergola where you can have the best views of the hotel, a rest or sunbathe, swimming pool, spacious garden and private parking for our clients.

The restaurant of the hotel is open to anybody and has a capacity for 37 people. The menus are based on season ingredients mixed with traditional recipes of the spanish gastronomy together with the latest culinary techniques. Our select wine cellar has the most representative spanish wines as well as "Cavas" and other drinks.

Due to it's strategic location, Cerro de Hijar will let you get closer to the wildest Andalucian nature and discover the richness of the Nature Park Sierra de las Nieves, declared "Reserve of the Biosphere" by the UNESCO.

It is the ideal place to forget the bustle of big cities, enjoy the gastronomy of the area, practise adventure sports or just read your favourite book in total silence.

From the accommodation it takes an hour to get to Malaga and 45 minutes to Marbella.
