By the end of the XIX century Comillas was the Summer resort for the Spanish aristocracy, fact which provided the city with peculiar buildings such as El Capricho de Gaudi, the Pontifical University... There's a beach of fine sand and transparent water right in the city center. Nearby you'll find the natural beach of Oyambre with more than 2 kmts length in the middle of an amazingly beauty scenery. |
