Guadix is a beautiful Andalusian city with an outstanding historic heritage: A cathedral from the XVIth. century, a Moresque citadel, a Latin quarter with Arabic palaces and the largest number of inhabited "casa cueva" of the world. More than 3.000 people live in the cave houses. The city is very good communicated with the rest of Spain by train, bus and through the A-92 highway. As being surrounded by Nature Parks such as Sierra Nevada, la Sierra Baza, la Sierra de Huetor and only 100 kmts away from Cabo de Gata, Almeria, our equestrian center is the perfect place for horse riding. You can also practise cross-country skiing in el Puerto de la Ragua (Sierra Nevada), which is 20 kmts far from here. |

Our 14 horses are perfectly trained for any level of difficulty within the horse-riding training. The lodging (in our comfortable wooden cottages) is included in every programme as well as breakfast (also the ones during the picnics). Lunch and dinner can be organized in the restaurant of the horse-riding center. All rates mentioned are per person in double occupation. | Horse-riding weekend: Designed for those people who have never ridden before or those who have very little riding experience and wish to improve their riding skills. Throughout the programme the number of hours in the saddle are steadily increased each day as riders develop the necessary resistance and improve their outdoor skills through the practice of Le TREC technicalities. Riding ability: Advanced. This programme includes 6 days of riding during which riders will spend around 5 hours a day in the saddle. The route we will follow, takes us through the red and white clay landscapes, to the oasis of the desert and will lead us through thousands of years of spectacular historical heritage. This programme is designed for those who ride on a regular base and are capable of spending full days in the saddle in all three paces. The day-long treks are without a doubt an interesting adventure for horse-lovers with an unique combination of spectacular sceneries, exercise and fresh air with the luxurious commodities at our specially selected accommodation along this route. Summary of program: Full day excursions through the mountains of the nature park of Sierra Nevada and the surroundings (ex: the Cogollos lake, rivers, pine forests, semi-desert plains, luscious valleys) and up to its highest peak (2.400 mts height).
